KEVIN MEMORIAL MARCH 2019

Corporal Kevin van de Rijdt was killed in action on September 6th, 2009 by small arms fire during combat operations in the Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. His friends and relatives remember him during an annual memorial march from the Oosterbeek War Cemetery to his place of birth Venray where a monument has been set up in his honor. The march is 44 miles long and is walked during the night and following morning.
