Willem was so proud of his partner during her “blessed state,” as some call it, that he asked me to capture her at eight months of pregnancy as a keepsake for future generations. Together we searched for a location that would complement her beauty and eventually arrived at this spot: the beach and dunes near Noordwijk in North Holland. Elena wanted her partner to be in the photographs as well, so we included him in the shoot. I think they form a beautiful couple. One month after the session, they welcomed a son named Daniël.
