Moonstruck/How to Disappear Completely

(2005) explores the possibility of an encounter or reunion with a loved one beyond death. I created this series in the months following my father’s passing.The series shows a young girl in a white dress wandering through snow, nightscapes, and dark forests. The connection she seeks with her lost loved one is symbolised by the dark earth and woods into which she disappears, by her almost magical connection to the moon, and by the snowy landscape in which she seems to dissolve.
