Moonstruck/How to Disappear Completely

(2005) investigates the possibility of a meeting or a reunion with a loved one beyond death. I've made this series in the months following my fathers' passing away. The series show a young girl in a white dress who is wandering through the snow, the night and dark forests. The connection that she searches for with the loved one is symbolised by the dark earth and woods in which she disappears, by her magic “connection” to the moon and by the snowy landscape into which she seems to dissolve.
