"To face your traumatic experiences is perhaps the toughest of all missions"

I have put this book together with the aim of breaking the taboo that surrounds PTSD. I sincerely hope that htis book will contribute to a better understanding, acknowledgement and recognition of the problems that our veterans are faced with. It is important that we think about how we want to treat our war veterans and how we can improve existing therapies and treatments. It is also my hope that eventually people will consider mental wounds as a result of war just as 'normal' as physical wounds.
